Cruisin' The Coast 2008

On Oct, 8th, my wife, son and I drove my 1939 Oldsmobile Street Rod to Gulf Port / Biloxi, MS for the 2008 Cruisin' The Coast event. We had a GREAT time. We rented a 2 bedroom condo, over-looking Hwy 90, the beach and the Gulf Coast. We drove the Olds back on Sunday, October 12th. We put approximately 1500 miles on the Olds and it drove GREAT. On the Interstate, we cruised around 75 - 80 and on the state highways we cruised around 65-70. Besides the car shows, cruise-in's and cruising Hwy 90, we also saw a Beatles tribute concert at the Hard Rock Cafe / Hotel / Casino. Because we have done this event two times now, I think next year we will do a different Fall car event, just for a new adventure. If you haven't done the Cruisin' The Coast event yet, you should consider doing it at least once. There were approximately 4,000 cars registered for the event. Not everyone bothered to register their car, so I'm not sure how many cars actually were there.
