My Trip to
Desert Valley Auto Parts - Casa Grande
Salvage Yard

I recently went to Phoenix, AZ to visit my dad. My brother John, from Wichita, KS [ aircraft machinist, long time drag racer, hot rod owner / enthusiast ] also went to visit my dad at the same time. We spent a few days together, and John already know all about Desert Valley Auto Parts in Casa Grande, AZ,  so we went out there to look around. The management allowed us to go out in the yard to look at all the cool cars. We spent a few hours enjoying all the old cars from the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's and 70's. Among my favorites were a '39 Ford, a Hupmobile, a '67 Charger, an early Chevy Suburban, a 1957 rail road Pontiac / Fairmont station wagon, a flat head woody station wagon,  some '55, '56 & '58 Chevy's, Novas, Edsels, Mustangs, Impalas, and a lot of 50's cars. We also found a group of flat heads, a Buick nail head, a Packard, and a Hemi engine in a 50's Chrysler.

I hope you enjoy the pictures. Not many salvage yards like this are around anymore.
